Sunday Pass

The streak had to come to an end sometime. 1-1 on the afternoon with a disappointing peformance from Air Force against BYU.

Oh well, on to Sunday Action

Baltimore +1 - Just don't feel comfortable going against the Colts here. Manning doesn't get nervous against the Ravens.
SF +6.5 - Defense should keep it a close game but I am not complete sold here.
NY Jets +10.5 - Pats may make an example out of them after bitter loss last week.
Tennessee +4.5 - No comfort taking the Titans here. Sure they have one three in a row but Texans are coming off a bye and are in the thick of things for the first time.

I hate to do it but I am taking a pass tomorrow. If anything changes I will let you know.

Lets see how we roll

Bear of a week this week so I am going with my speed version of the blog. Hopefully this will not disrupt the roll that I am on

Indiana +3 -This team has bee so close so many times but I think they are do for a crash.
North Carolina + 3.5 - Love these guys to use their D and keep it close and maybe even come up with the road upset. 2 Units.
NC State + 21 - Wolfpack have disappointed and I am not sure how into it VT will be so I am staying away.
Vanderbilt + 16.5 - Up 60 17 and gut says take it with all the turmoil at UT these days...but no key players are missing time.
LSU + 4 - Ole Miss is a mess but has covered 8 out of 10 against LSU.
Air Force +10.5 - Taking a shot that their rush offense can keep it close but there is no recent trend to support it. 1 Unit and possible streak buster

NFL week 11 Look ahead

The current streak is six in a row including five on the NFL side. Hopefully this run is the season revealing itself and not just a fluke.

Here are the NFL games I am watching closely this weekend.

Baltimore +1
SF +6.5
NY Jets +10.5
Tennessee +4.5

How long can this keep going...

NCAA Week 12 look ahead

Never in a million did I think I would crank out 6 in a row. When you are on a run you have to respect the streak right...or do you go for broke. I am not sure.

Either way here are the NCAA games I am keeping my eye on this week.

Indiana +3
North Carolina + 3.5
NC State + 21
Vanderbilt + 16.5
LSU + 4
Air Force +10.5

Perfect weekend

Admittedly I didn't put a lot on the line but I had a perfect weekend. 1-0 on Saturday and 1-0 again on Sunday. That is six in a row for anyone who is keeping track.

Current record: 61-54-2 +24.17

How long I can keep it up is anyone's guess.

Sunday solo pick

Northwestern cashed with a SU victory at Illinois. One pick...One win. I am going to see if I can do the same tomorrow.

And that one pick is....Cincinatti +7.

I was hoping that this one would tick up a point through the week but it has held firm at seven. The Bengals beat the Steelers earlier in the year and they have the mojo going. If they can win on Sunday they will take a commanding lead in the division.

This game should be hard fought and go down to the last score of the game which is why I feel good about taking the Bengals.

CIN are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
Road team is 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 meetings.

Slim pickings on Saturday

I am a little disappointed that Mizzou is now the favourite against K-State. I am still going to bet them but they no longer qualify on the dog side.

This leaves me only Northwestern at +5 but I am only lukewarm on these guys. Illinois has got nothing going this year and NW is coming off a huge win. The thing is I am nervous about is QB Mike Kafka. He needs to finish the game. If he does...then I think it will be an easy win as the Illini will be working in a frosh QB. No more Juice.

NW has covered in 3 of 4 to boot.

If anything else catches my eye I will be sure to let you know.
